Psycholudics – Key Terminology
Psycholudics introduced many terms new to people working with children in their play. These terms were used to create a technical vocabulary in order to more accurately describe what we think is happening when children are playing. “More than anything else the Colorado Paper demonstrated that authoritative work regarding the relationship between playwork and the phenomenon of play could be written by and for playworkers without reference or apology to other more established disciplines.”* * Conway M, Hughes B, Sturrock G (March 2004) A Personal List of Events, Review of the Values and Assumptions PlayWales 2004 Click here for a glossary of key terms used in Psycholudics. |
